Bio
David F. Lewis, MD, finished medical school at Louisiana State University in 1985. He finished his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA in 1989 and his fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of California, Irvine in 1991. He began his academic career back at LSU by starting Perinatal Services at that institution. Over his 20 year career, he has been Residency Program Director at the University of Kentucky and Professor and Chairman of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Louisiana State University School of Medicine from 2002-2007.
Dr. Lewis joined the faculty at the University of Cincinnati in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in November, 2007 as Professor and Vice Chair of Obstetrics and Director of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship.
