Fetal Surgery Fellowship Training Objectives

Fetal Surgery Fellowship Training objectives for Fetal Care Center of Cincinnati fellows include:

1. Participating in prenatal evaluation and counseling of fetal index cases (approximately 150 cases a year)
2. Participating in all EXIT, fetoscopic, and open fetal surgical cases (approximately 15 cases a year)
3. Acquiring basic skills in interpreting prenatal ultrasound, MRI and echocardiography in evaluating fetal index cases
4. Scrubbing in on neonatal index cases in follow up to prenatal diagnosis
5. Actively participating in the postnatal management of all parentally diagnosed index cases admitted out Regional Center for Newborn Intensive Care (RCNIC).
