Our program is of national standing. It is led by fetal / pediatric surgeon, Timothy Crombleholme, MD, FACS, FAAP, one of the most respected experts in the field of fetal medicine and surgery.

Joining Dr. Crombleholme are leading maternal-fetal medicine specialists, including William Polzin, MD and Jeffrey Charles Livingston, MD. They are supported by an outstanding team of highly trained and skilled physicians, nurses, counselors and therapists.

About the Fetal Care Center

The Fetal Care Center of Cincinnati began in 2001 as a collaboration among three leading medical institutions:

The Fetal Care Center of Cincinnati is the only comprehensive program located in the Midwest affiliated with a top 10 children's hospital, a top five university pediatric training program, two Level III (highest level) maternity hospitals and three Level III (highest level) Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) for newborns. These NICUs form the largest National Institutes of Health (NIH) research site of the 14 across the United States. The Fetal Care Center of Cincinnati is one of only three centers in the United States to offer the full range of fetal surgical interventions.
