Fetal Surgery Unit Nesting Rooms
At the Fetal Care Center of Cincinnati we commit to providing a diagnosis and plan of care all within one day. This can often mean a long day for the expectant mother and her family. With this in mind, a mother's day will be scheduled to allow her to take breaks and have snacks, keeping her as comfortable as possible.
In our Fetal Surgery Unit we have two Nesting Rooms. A Nesting Room is a calm place just for mom. In each room a couch folds into a nap-ready bed, and a television is available for mom to watch a movie or television show. This space can be a quiet refuge for retreat between studies and consultations or a private place to sit with family.
